DC Circuit Breaker Testing Facility

Sunpeace takes product quality seriously, with an advanced testing center dedicated to ensuring the highest performance and reliability of our circuit breakers.

Miniature Circuit Breaker Electrical Life Test
We test the electrical service life of miniature circuit breakers, with a requirement that all models under 125A must last for a minimum of 2000 cycles. This is tested according to QAL class I 0.65 standards. Products tested include our range of miniature circuit breakers.

Molded Case Circuit Breaker Mechanical Life Test
We conduct mechanical life tests for all molded case circuit breakers. For breakers up to 250A, we ensure 10,000 cycles of durability; for 400/630A, 4000 cycles; and for 800A, 1000 cycles. These tests follow QAL class I 0.65 standards, ensuring that every product is up to the task.

High and Low Temperature Testing
Our products are subjected to extreme environmental conditions to confirm their reliability. They must operate effectively at temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C. This test applies to our entire range of DC circuit breakers, surge protectors, fuses, and more.

Glow Wire Flame Retardant Testing
Sunpeace circuit breakers undergo glow wire tests to ensure that plastic components such as PA66, PA46, and PBT materials are flame-retardant. They must pass a 960°C burn test for 30 seconds, ensuring that no burning debris falls, and the flame is extinguished within 30 seconds. This is done according to QAL class I 0.65 standards.
